T-10 Days till the Folk Fest at the North Atlanta Trade center and what are we doing in the studio…Well thanks to the great engineering insight of Niki Portmann we are now on our way to being free of those infectious blood sucking insects that Bats are so fond of. Thanks to Niki and the DT1000 Insect Eliminator for cleaning up this little annoyance in our work environment. I know what you’re thank’n…so many frogs why the need for assistance in eliminate a valuable food supply. Truth be known, the evil FrogShway is well aware of our plans for REVOLUTION in the Smyrna Regional Area (SRA) so they have sent their minions to thwart our efforts with a grand supply of blood suckers. Since we’re not wimp makers we’re saying BRING in ON to the Shwah…is that all ya got?
The Festival of Folkness at the North Atlanta Trade Center starting the evening of Friday, August 20th and lasting Sunday the 22nd is our Christmas we are working like MAD elves planning and putting the wheels in place to launch what we hope will be one of our greatest achievements…DaFrogWorks. DaFrogWorks will serve as a vehicle to reproduce the high quality edgy, creepy whimsical designs of master sculptor Beau Smith. Currently, the demand for the Smith frog is much greater than production capacity, so we aim to open that up a bit with a factory style-cottage art industry that attracts bohemian creatives to the GREAT SMY like a heard of SOUL enriching killer bees…killing what is Shwah and pollinating what is SHWAY.
And the T… Well, several months ago, we had to take a break from our active blogging to focus on a few core aspects of the Shway mainly keeping the Shway Shwaying Shwayfully. We are happy to report that the Shway is still FULL on. We were able to gain some valuable insight on the production of our TieDye FrogShway T design in recent weeks and anticipate having this product available at Folk Fest as well as online about that time (e.g, Aug 20-22).
KidShway…we know that many of the younger minds of the future are eager to start Shwaying full on. Because of dis, we’ve enlisted our chief Guru to publish an official statement of Values that hold the power of the Shway strong for those fighting against the Shwah. We at the Shway believe in great clarity…what better way to do that than with bright a crystal clear wordage… Well, we’re taking in over the top because we solicited local SCAD graduate and Comic Allen Spetnagel to create the first of what we hope to be an exciting series of comic handbooks that serve to make clear in a clever way what is truly Shway in it’s full on Shwayness.
